OK, i think i got the RSS feed to work -- i should be getting all the latest blog posts on my Netvibes page. (I'm not one to proselytize internet fads, but this is kind of an easy way to enter the world of web 2.0 without it being a huge time suck).

But the real point of my post is to add my thanks to Andrea for going all-out to host such a great holiday party. I'm sorry i almost fell asleep on your couch. I blame the combination of wine, a good meal, a cozy room...and Rick's holiday medley.

Ladies, eight senior members of my Foreign Film Club, a very cool colleague, and I are going to see Mira Nair and Javier Bardem at the TimesCenter on Wed., Nov. 28th. Each speaker is $25. I'd love to meet any of you at either event. I wish I were insanely wealthy so that I could buy all ten of us wigs that mimic Javier's Prince Valiant look from the new movie. Has anyone seen the movie yet? Very excited...
